Ski four of the most special Patagonia Volcanos in Patagonia.

Summit the Lonquimay, Llaima, Sollipulli, and Villarica Volcanoes.

This trip includes an Avalanche Science REC1+ or REC2+ certification.

The trip guides are fluent in English, Spanish, and French. The guides have an ideal mix of IFMGA, AAA Certified Avalanche Instructors, and AIARE Course instructors.

All expenses related to lodging, meals, and ground transportation are covered.

What are you responsible for? Airline flights, beers, wine, and spirits.

Chago and Nico have been busy exploring NEW lines. You will not be ski touring on a beaten path. You will be pioneering the best and least known descent routes! And if that is not enough ... the timing of the trip has been carefully selected to guarantee the BEST snow!

 TRIP ITINERARY

This itinerary is flexible and it can be tailored to a group (minimum of 4). Locations can also vary to satisfy the group interest.

September 9: Suggested arrival to Santiago, Chile in the morning. Flight to Temuco. in the afternoon.

September 10- Day 1: Meet at Temuco. This is the start of the ADVENTURE! Arrival to Malalcahuello. Sidecountry skiing at Corralco.

September 11- Day 2: Introduction to avalanche terrain. Ski the remote and mystical lines of the headwaters of the Cautin River.

September 12 -Day 3: Summit and ski Volcan Lonquimay. Ski its steep east face.

September 13 - Day 4: The great one ... approach Volcan Llaima from the North, summit and ski Llaima's South Face. Big Hurrah!

September 14 - Day 5: Relaxing day skiing the Sollipulli volcanic caldera 

September 15 - Day 6: Enjoy climbing an active volcano and experience the red-hot lava of Volcan Villarrica crater.

September 16 - Day 7: Farewell breakfast. Transfer to Temuco. Fly from Temuco to Santiago. Depart to the USA that night.

Cancellation Policy: 60% of the course cost can be refunded up to 30 days prior to the course start. No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the start of the course for which you are registered.
